hi keegan41, why would you want a 2nd generation when you could have the 3 generation? so let's begin with either asus supreme or intel delux both is very good motherboards. now processor intel 960 sales for $276.99 or if you have more money to spend than a intel 980 sales for $252.99 and the intel 990 sales for $999.99. now you have a pentium video card that you chose it will not work in a gaming computer so i recommend two video card a intel 250 to 280 and a Nvidia geforce 9800gtx. these are the best of each world like killer graphics and Nvidia protects your computer. so this is why you have the best and that is what pcworld magazine recommends without a booster. this is what makes up a gaming computer i also recommend a 500 hard drive a 7200 would make it an all day job just to defragment your computer. good luck i hope i was helpful to you

If you are serious about gaming....you should spend LESS on the CPU and MORE on the GPU.
Also, you should bumb it up to 16GB of DDR3 memory 1600 and overclock it if you can/know how
