Windows live movie maker audio question?

Postby sandon » Tue Jan 29, 2013 8:57 pm

I'm trying to use WLMM to add audio to a video file but when I use the "add music" feature, it only adds the first seven seconds of the MP3 file. How do I fix this?

Windows live movie maker audio question?

When this happens to me it's because I add the mp3 to a photo or video that's shorter than the mp3 duration. This makes the mp3 length snap to the duration of the shorter photo/video. I then have to use a tool command to make the photo/video match the mp3 duration I think..!

The "tool" is on the Project tab: Fit To Music. This works best with photos/pictures because they can be extended, made to display for as long as you them to be. Most video files cannot be extended because, unlike photos, their beginnings and ends are different. Try "Fit To Music" and see what happens.
