Why is my Google Chrome messed up?

Postby jenyd » Sat Jun 30, 2012 1:59 pm

My google chrome was working well before I left to my scuba trip. Now when I open it up I get the SSL Error. I can't get to facebook. Just going to every normal site gets the SSL Error and when I try to login as well. What can I do to fix it? Before it was fine and didn't have that show up. I uninstalled it and reinstalled and still happens. Its so annoying! Can someone help on getting rid of that? Thanks in advance.

Go to Settings -> Options -> Under the hood, and enable both SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0.

If that's not working then :

Find out the installation directory of chrome, most probably it will be under c:\Program Files.
Copy this path and open/run cmd.exe by typing it in the "Start" typebox. (you know how to, don't you?)

In the “black box”, you would have to type the following

cd “PATH_TO_CHROME_INSTALLATION”

if you do an dir chrome.exe you should find it there
next type chrom.exe –allow-ssl-mitm-proxies

It should work :)
