Why Can't My Computer Connect To The Internet By The Linksys Wireless Router?

It is probably getting confused on the public address space.
Linksys usually uses

something in the 192.168.1.x, so if they are both using that network address space, it won't work.

a million. purchase a router 2. connect the community lead from the cable modem to the WAN port on the router 2a. connect a community lead from the router on your first laptop 3. run the router setup wizard 4. set up an encryption key for the instantaneous connection utilising WPA encryption 5. purchase and deploy a instantaneous card or usb dongle for the different laptop (except it already has one) 6. activate the different laptop and it is going to declare "instantaneous networks are obtainable" 7. click the message, choose your router call off the checklist 8. enter the password for the router which you place up in step 4 9. carried out
