When I Click On An Internet Link In My Outlook Email It Won't Let Me Open It?

Postby Elvis » Sun Oct 01, 2017 8:55 am

I'm using Windows 7 and MS Office Outlook 2007 for email, Norton for security. When I click on an internet link in any email, I get the message: "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Contact your system administrator"

It's my computer and I'm the administrator. Why won't it let me open it?

Thanks in advance.

That's a good thing, it's outlook trying to protect you. If you just HAVE to find out where that link leads, right click on it, copy it, and paste it into your browser address bar. You better have good AV protection.
