Postby cornelio » Thu Feb 07, 2013 12:22 am

I really like photography and i was thinking about buying an entey level camera. My friend has a nikon coolpix and i was thinking about getting the same thing. I like land scape pictures alot but i also take pictures of various things including people and moving things. My price range is about nothing above $150 or $200

Whats a good entry level camera?

Nikon tends to be on the expensive side. I would check out Fuji Finepix S2950 @ $152.00 on amazon. It has an amazing number of features for no doubt less money. In fact if you believe as I do, that digital cameras are nothing more than small computers with a lens, you can understand why digital cameras are like computers in that when introduced they sell for top dollar. New model give more features at less dollars! The above explanation is for te reason when I bought my first Fuji digital camera it cost $800.00!!! The Fuji Finepix S2950 has MORE features and costs a lot less!

Sadly at that price range you won't be able to get a camera that would be considered serious enough for a photographer even at entry level. You may want to consider saving up for one of the highly over popularized canon cameras.
