You have two options.

The first one is using a VGA.

If you've had a desktop, you may have one of these lying around somewhere.

The second option that I recommend is using a HDMI just because your computer can support it.

This is the same cable that you should be using to connect your BD player and your cable box to your tv.

Using HDMI will give you sharper image and you will also be sending a sound signal to your tv, this way you can watch movies on your tv using your laptop.

I have my Vaio connect to Samsung tv with HDMI. Its great to use. If you want to use the computer from sitting a distance away, buy yourself a wireless keyboard and mouse. Its a good investment.

You would need an HDMI cord. You would connect your laptop to the hdmi output on your TV. Then after you would go to settings, then display and then click duplicate monitors. Then magic! I also recommend you if you are going to use this a lot then you buy a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Looking at the specs on the laptop, you have an HDMI port. So you should use an HDMI cord. Most stores that have them are expensive but you can find them cheap online. I have a few of these and have had no problems with them. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...
