What Is Android 3.0 In A Blackberry Tablet?

Postby Attewater » Thu Oct 12, 2017 5:36 am

Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) is the latest Android OS. The Motorola Xoom runs 3.0.

The BlackBerry Playbook runs the BlackBerry operating system.

What Is Android 3.0 In A Blackberry Tablet?

There is no such thing.

Blackberry tablet, i.e. the Playbook, runs a special Blackberry Tablet OS that's not related to normal Blackberry OS nor to Android.

There's talk about Alien Dalvik, which will let Playbook run Android OS apps, but that does NOT mean it will run the Android OS itself.

Android 3.0 is the tablet version of Android OS.

What Is Android 3.0 In A Blackberry Tablet?

I guess it would be a Blackberry tablet that uses Android 3.0 for its operating system - but there is no such thing currently.

As of today, there is only one Blackberry tablet, it is called the Playbook. The Playbook is not an Android tablet (it uses Blackberry's OS instead of Android), but it can run many Android apps.
