Is There A Way To Turn A Windows 7 Computer On Sleep Or Hibernate If You're Stuck On The Password Screen?

Postby Bartram » Wed Oct 18, 2017 2:04 am

I was going on my friends computer without their permission and I didn't realize that they had a password. I'm stuck on the password screen and I want to turn it back on sleep/hibernate without them knowing that I was on their computer. Is there a keyboard shortcut or something that can help me get it back to sleep?

The only thing on the password screen is the finger identification thing, a place to enter their password, and a button that has speaking options if you can navigate the screen. No where is there a power off or sleep button.

Please help!
