Is There A Device To Hookup My Pc To My Tv Wirelessly?

Postby MacMillan » Wed Oct 11, 2017 4:06 am

Hey peeps, basically instead of buying a media pc for my tv I wanted to know if I can hookup my pc to the tv wirelessly but like a monitor, most streaming programs don't work with every file type and I differ a lot with formats.

Atm I've got a VGA cable running through the house so quite annoying.

Also if possible I would like to be able to have 2 monitors connected to my pc by wires and my tv wireless but being able to just click to show it on the tv. Even if I need a amazing graphics card to pull it off.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks very much

Oh actually while I'm at it do monitors exist where it has 2 VGA/DVI/HDMI? Wanted to hook up a 3rd monitor for my Xbox but have that connected to the pc aswell haha.

I hope you understand that I don't want a super solution or pc. Just have pc being able to play a movie on my tv without faffin about when it's already connected to 3 monitors or maybe 2

If you have HDMI out you can use one of these but they are pricey

http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?q=hdmi+wireless&sugexp=chrome,mod%3D6&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=16813385593726815431&sa=X&ei=tQDGUOvtGI-JhQeu8oGADg&ved=0CFcQ8wIwAA

An alternative could be get something like a raspberry pi and set something like VNC up to share your screen
