click on start

click on my computer.

right click on (C:)

click on properties.

click on the tools tab.

under Error-checking

click on the check now button.

click in each of the two box's so they have a check mark in them.

one is, Automatically fix file system errors,

the other one is, scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.

click on start.

you will get a message saying

that it can not be performed and would you like to schedule it.

(or something along those lines)

click on yes,

then restart the computer.

after it has run its checks and the computer restarts.

you should be able to delete it in the normal manner,

unless the folder is in use by a program.

in which case try starting in safe mode and then delete it.

Go to Command Prompt (Start, Run, CMD).

Then use the Del command.

DEL path Foldername /f

Path is the full path to the folder so, eg. C:\Users\YourName\MyDocuments\Music

/f is for a forced delete.
