I Need A New Laptop For High School?

Postby Robby » Sun Feb 05, 2017 12:21 am

So my old laptop is really bad and it shuts down from over heating a lot, so I'm buying a new laptop... My price range is from 500$ to 600$ I want a laptop with beats audio and touch smart screen. I was going to get the hp envy x2 but its really small (11.6 inch screen). So i want the screen size to be from 13 inches to 15 inches (17 inches seems really big) Nothing over $650.

You dont really need beats. Its kind of useless. If you are looking for good sound, and an os that isnt complete garbage, buy a pc without an os, and put some linux on it, make your windows pc look like garbage, Because windows is garbage.

I suggest checking at Wal-Mart, Office Depot, and

Best Buy. A laptop good enough for high school I

think you can find a decent one for 400 to 500.

And also one with probably 15.4" to 15.6" screen.

If it's really for high school, wait until fall semester starts and ask a counselor. I give same advice to people going to college. Instructors have certain expectations and they also know good PCs depending on price ranges. It's more important that your PC is capable of doing the school work than listening to music.

Try this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+ENVY+Touch-Screen+Ultrabook+14%26%2334%3B+Laptop+-+4GB+Memory+-+500GB+Hard+Drive+-+Midnight+Black/6879218.p?id=1218810021588&skuId=6879218

By the way you don't need beats audio to get good sound. it just a gimmick.
