I Am Looking To Buy A High End Ultraportable Netbook!?

Postby Orford » Tue Jun 06, 2017 12:45 pm

Hi everyone, i am basically looking to buy a high end ultraportable netbook. This might be confusing but what i mean by this is basically i am getting rid of the ipad and want a netbook instead but want something as light as the ipad. However i do not want a traditional netbook with the 1.6ghz intel atom chips. I am using a Lenovo Ideapad Y570 with i7 2630QM + 8GB RAM + SSD as my main machine so moving to the intel atom netbooks will be a pain. Thus what i want is very ultraporable netbook with high end specs something along the following lines:

-Intel i3 ~2.0Ghz

-4GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600Mhz

-7200 RPM HDD (Storage dosent matter)

-11 orr 12 " Screen

GOOD BUILD QUALITY IS A MUST.

I have looked a lot but am not able to find the product meeting the above specifications and my needs at the same time. Help would be appreciated.

Cheers

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008FPLFJC/re...
(you can get a much cheaper version from different shops; e.g. PCWorld.

or http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/toshiba-sa... (not as good as the above one)

The first linked Acer is a beautiful laptop, but has an i5 instead of an i3 which is better but more expensive, you could probably ask a big company to change that around for you to reduce the price though. (Remember there is a less expensive version than the above Acer)

Also consider a new Google Chromebook; boots in less than 10 seconds and is very portable and the slightly more expensive versions have nice specifications.
