How do you make a fan-dub?

I really want to make a fan-dub for "Part Of That World" I have the recording of me singing it, and I have windows live movie maker, but how do you transfer the voice to the video, and how do you make it so the real actors voices aren't heard?

You need an instrumental track so that the original voices aren't heard. You can find instrumental tracks on YouTube. To make both sound files play at the same time, I believe one has to be attached to a video and then you add your own MP3 file so they overlap. If you're having trouble with it you can always use a free audio editing software call Audacity to mix the two MP3s into one file, then make it a movie in movie maker.
