How to turn off Google Chrome advertisements?

Postby karlis » Wed Nov 28, 2012 3:14 pm

I have Google Chrome, and every time I type something in, in the search bar and click on it it goes to an advertisers site. Example: I type in Facebook on Google, I click on Facebook and it redirects and takes me to an advertising site. Its really bugging me, is there a way to turn it off?

google chrome doesn't have advertising it's websites that have advertising and if you keep getting redirected when you do a search in google for example then it means you have a adware infection which needs removing to do that run a spyware or malware scan if you don't have any anti malware try using malwarebytes anti malware http://www.malwarebytes.org/ or super anti spyware http://www.superantispyware.com/ both are good at their job and are sure to get this advertising pest

Get AdBlock Plus for Chrome. Vanilla Cookie Manager would be a good addition. Undirect from the Chrome store would be great.
