How Do I Convert This File In Windows Live Movie Maker?

Postby Iason » Sat Sep 16, 2017 6:51 pm

I just want to have a picture showing with the music playing in the background, but the music is selected as Mp3, whenever I select "Add Music" it won't show the song. I moved the song into a folder and the folder shows up..but not what's inside. How can I make the song show up/ convert it to where it will?? Please answer as soon as possible, I'm putting the music into a video on YouTube. Thank you.

Movie Maker has trouble with DRM protected files.
It also has trouble with mp3s downloaded to iTunes.
You can try to convert the mp3 to an uncompressed WAV file but a lot of free converters won't convert protected files.
If you already have a video converter, take a look at the options because more of them will also convert audio files.

"Just in case": I use Pazera's Audio Extractor to convert audio files when I need to.
It's a small program that's portable (doesn't install on your computer).
It's free, quick and does a good job. http://www.pazera-software.com/products/...

Use the smaller, greenish "Download" button at the upper right.
If you want to download a zip folder, use the link immediately below the button.

I made a tutorial showing how to use Pazera.
I extract the audio from a video but the steps are exactly the same for converting an audio file to a different file type. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwm4NHrxL...
