How Come My Computer Will Ponly Delete The History And Cookies Of Ie?

with 3rd party browsers you need to go into the settings for that browser and delete history and cookies, windows can only delete ie ones because ie is part of windows, the other browsers are not so windows cannot delete the stuff. a good program is ccleaner, it can delete history and cookies from all installed browsers, it also cleans registry faults, you can get it at www.filehippo.com

Control Panel > Internet Options only relates to Internet Explorer.

If you want more advanced options for Firefox you have to either install add ons or third party software. Or configure Tools> Options> Privacy in Firefox.

Full guide to Firefox tweaks (including privacy tweaks): http://www.tweakguides.com/Firefox_3.htm... = read all pages.

For clean up try: http://bleachbit.sourceforge.net/

Set it to import more cleaners via Prefernces> General like this: http://bleachbit.sourceforge.net/documen...

Deletes supercookies as well as cookies.
