I Have A Question About My Desktop?

so i am running my pc through hdmi and i connected it to my lcd tv, the problem is that half of my desktop is hidden, like for example the toolbar, i cant find the solution :/ when i hook up my computer to the living room tv everything looks fine what can be the cause and or solution? thanks!

im running an ATI Radeon HD 4800 series graphics card

Right click the desktop and select "screen resolution". Change that to match the resolution output of your TV. The right click on the Desktop works on Windows 7. Not sure what you're running.

Yes, change your resolution to the LCD's native resolution...

Check your drivers are up-to date if you don't install drivers your GPU will hazard a guess at the Resolution and get it wrong. Try going to Control Panel>Appearance and Personalisation then adjust screen resolution.

If your resolution is set to say 360-480 and your TV's resolution is supposed to be at 680-840 then it's gonna be messed up. You gotta match dem resolutions.
