Is my pc hardware compatible with other components?

Postby richman » Sun Mar 17, 2013 7:55 pm

hi i'm thinking of getting a pc assembled and i was wondering if the components are compatible with each other. the components are
cpu - core i5 3450 quad
mobo - gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H
RAM - Corsair vengeance 8gb
hdd - WD 500gb blue caviar 7200rpm
graphics card - HIS 7870 iceQ 2gb (H787Q2G2M)
all of this will be housed in a cooler master haf 912. My usage is mostly for gaming. Also, please suggest me a psu for this configuration and advice me on replacing the gpu with a gtx 660 Ti (asus)
thanks...

The GTX 660 Ti is a better card but much more expensive. The 7870 is better in terms of price to performance as you can get one as cheap as $220 while 660 Ti cards are still around $300.

Yes it's all compatible. The 7870 is an excellent card and is better than the 650 GTX Ti anyways
