Graphics Trouble When Playing Old Games With Windows Vista?

Postby Witton » Mon Oct 16, 2017 6:00 pm

My laptop isn't really cutting-edge technology, so I tried to play Fallout 2 and Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 instead. However, while the game plays just fine, the screen would turn black-and-white and grainy every second and usually it's not the whole monitor, but only parts of it.

I don't get this problem with newer ('casual') games such as Plants vs. Zombies and BeatHazard Ultra.

Thanks for your help.

Run it in compatibility mode, right click, properties, screw around with it.
