Good Gaming Pc For Playing Latest Games....?

Hey friends i have a dell laptop..2nd generation intel core i3 processor,4GB RAM,500GB hard disk and 1GB AMD Radeon HD 6470M graphics card.i bought nfs hot pursuit and ashes 2009 from flipkart.com and i played both games without any problem in my laptop.But many friend suggested me to play games on pc only...

My assembled PC(hp monitor,compaq cpu,mouse n keyboard) configuration are-OS-windows 7 ultimate 32 bit,CPU-intel core 2 duo e7300 @ 2.66GHz,RAM-1GB single channel DDR2,Motherboard-MSI Boston(socket 775),Graphics-HP w1707(1440*900 @ 60hz)intel G33/G31 xpress chipest family and 300 hard disk..So what should i do to make my pc a good gaming pc??should i change my CPU??Can you suggest me a good specification for playing all latest games and even upcoming games..

Yes u can play present day games at high snap shots if u have as much as decision your display 1280*1024 to 1680*800 or else if you have more resolution than you have to trade your snap shots

no need to change cpu.upgrade ram to 4 gb.and graphics at least ati radeon 6670 1gb.then u can play any latest games

Yes, you need to upgrade your CPU. Dual-core just isn't enough for gaming.

Also, you need at least 4GB of RAM and a good video card.


A lot depends on your budget. There are many forums where you can get detailed help, like Tom's Hardware.
