Gaming Pc Configuration?

Postby rockwell » Wed Oct 11, 2017 4:41 pm

The hardwares that define the actual speed of the rig are the-

CPU. GPU, and the RAM.

Other hardwares that have minimal impact on the gaming experience but are required for the computer to run are-

Hard drive, motherboard, sound card (your motherboard should have one built in), PSU

Thos are the internal components.

Nowadays you are going to want a quad core CPU minimum @ 3.0 GHz at least, 4 GB ram is just enough to play any game and run windows, but I've found that 8 GB of ram makes it so much better as you can alt-tab very fast and multitask like a boss. as for the motherboard just get what suits you system whether it be sata rev 3, usb 3.0, or 2x 16x PCIe lanes for a dual gpu config. for a graphics card i would recommend getting at least a GeForce GTX 560 or a AMD radeon HD 6850 minimum.
