Download A System That Gives You Time?

If it is a Windows 7 or Vista it is actually built into your computer's User Accounts and Family Safety selection in your Control Panel. There is no sense downloading software that takes up memory on your hard drive that isn't necessary. You do want to make sure that each family member has their own user account and that your/spouse account is the administrator's account. Also, you will want to have a password on the administrator's account, otherwise, if your children are old enough, they can go into the Parental Controls and disable the restrictions you set. The steps are as follows:

1. Open Control Panel from the start menu.

2. Select User Accounts and Family Safety

3. Select Parental Controls

(*Note* a window will pop up asking for the administrator's password)

4. Enter Administrator's password then select "Yes"

5. Select a user

6. Click on the selection circle to the immediate left of the ON option

7. Select the time limit option

(The next screen that will load should be a grid with every hour of the day and each day of week)

(Blue squares mean block and white means allowed)

(You can have different times each day or the same for every day of the week)

(You can have different sets of hour(s) each day/week)

If you want the same times block each day follow the next set of steps:

1. Click & Hold the start blocking time for day at the top of the grid

2. Drag straight down to the bottom of the grid

3. Drag left/right

If you want different times blocked each day follow the next set of steps:

1. Click & Hold the start blocking time for that day of the week.

2. Drag left/right

Good Luck!!!!!!!
