Connecting My Pc To A Tv Using Vga To Rca?

Postby Parsifal » Fri Oct 13, 2017 1:10 pm

I'm trying to connect my computer to my LG LCD HDTV and I am using a VGA to RCA cable. But when I connect the two, the TV will say no signal. I just connect plug the cable into the computer and the TV but it still says no signal. I don't know if there is anything extra I need to do or what...Is there anything I am doing wrong?

I think the issue might be if you are converting to RCA the input on your tv will recognize it as an accessory of some kind (non-HD game system, dvd player, vhs, etc.), so make sure it is set to that.
You would be much better off with just using a regular old VGA cable though, (I'm sure you're tv has one) or an HDMI cable
