Can I Connect A Drawing Tablet Straight To A Tv, Vs To A Pc?

Probably not.

Unless the television has a processor that supports any mouse/cursor functions, it won't support a graphics tablet.

What you need is a computer that can use the television as a monitor.
There ARE adaping hardware available for this.
But, since you can't add any hardware, you are out of luck.

On a Tablet PC, it's a lot harder navigating the Internet and you can't type unless you want to be typing 0.5 words per hour. A benefit is the fact that they're sleek, light, and fast booting up. Another disadvantage is the pen you HAVE to use. you can't use a different stylus and if you lose it it'll end up costing you 30-50$ depending on brand of tablet. My dad had one and I d it. It was really difficult managing my iPod and they're slow about internet connections. If I were you, I would definitely choose laptop.
