Burning A Disc On Mountain Lion.?

Postby santo47 » Fri Sep 08, 2017 4:06 pm

I have OS X Mountain Lion, and a new MacBook Pro with Retina (so it doesn't have iDVD) and a normal DVD. I would like to burn this DVD to a blank disc so that I can play it on computers, DVD players, etc. Is this possible?

If it is, instructions please... (detailed)

It would be preferable if I don't have to download any software, but if that's the only option, then it's alright.

You can create a New Burn Folder from the Finder's File menu, add the files to that and click on the Burn button in the top right corner.

If it is a commercial DVD you are trying to copy it may be protected so it cannot be copied.

Most DVD players require the DVD to be arranged in a certain way and for the content to be in the right format or they will not be able to read them.

Its very easy. Make a new folder on desktop and put all the file in it that you wanna burn on the DVD. After you have done that go to the small gear( setting) icon on top of folder bar and click on burn to the disk.

or you can use disk utility application. I hope that helped.

Yes Jessica you can do that.
