Best Camera For Taking Video?

Postby Maddockson » Sun Oct 01, 2017 3:00 pm

For shooting videos, I would recommend a video camera. For video, I use Sony camcorders, but Canon also does nice cameras also.

Take a look at some of these... http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?mxp...

The other thing to get would be a decent tripod since you plan on recording yourself (yes, things like cameras tend to "accidentally" fall off of tables/chairs/etcetera and tripods help prevent this).

If you want only video then I'd recommend a camcorder.
If you want both stills and video the t3i would be an excellent choice - but that call is, of course, up to you.

When you buy a Sony or Canon, most of the cost is the 'Name'. A less expensive camcorder with a fifty dollar editing program is the best buy. A good editing program lets you pick a perfect 'still' that might take one hundred shots with a still camera.
